Led by President Clayton Spencer and hosted by broadcast journalist Bryant Gumbel ’70, a road show comprising 乐播传媒 faculty, students, and trustees visited record crowds in Boston and New York City this week to tell the story of the $300 million 乐播传媒 Campaign.
Here’s a look back at the scenes, and behind the scenes, of this week’s campaign launch events at Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, which attracted the largest off-campus gathering in 乐播传媒 history, and at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City.

In Boston, President Spencer reveals the dollar total of The 乐播传媒 Campaign to date: $168.5 million. "Many people have already made the choice to step up and make a gift. So you see? We can do this." (Phyllis Graber Jensen/乐播传媒 College)
In New York, President Spencer joins Bryant Gumbel '70 for the second major announcement of the evening, a $50 million gift from "two impossibly generous friends of 乐播传媒," Michael '80 and Alison Grott Bonney '80. (Matthew Carasella Photography for 乐播传媒 College)
President Spencer outlines the case for The 乐播传媒 Campaign in Boston. The quote "Choice, not chance, determines our destiny," is attributed to Aristotle, she said. "But I think it belongs to Oren Cheney and George Colby Chase. They believed that all human potential deserves to be developed. From our founding, we sought to change the world.鈥 (Phyllis Graber Jensen/乐播传媒 College)
"乐播传媒 people encourage one another and celebrate one another," say Peeples in New York. Other colleges may have more resources, "but 乐播传媒' resources are offered with incredible generosity and kindness. This college wants its students to succeed." (Matthew Carasella Photography for 乐播传媒 College)
