Steel-drum ensemble joins Javanese gamelan, African drum and dance for concert
The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Steel Pan Rhythm Riders will join the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College Javanese Gamelan Ensemble and performers of West African drum and dance for an evening of music from around the world at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall, 75 Russell St. The concert is free and open to the public. The performers are ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students, staff, faculty and visiting artist Jody Diamond of Dartmouth College and the American Gamelan Institute.
