Marc Yves Regis photography exhibit opens
Photographer and poet Marc Yves Regis I will lecture at the opening of his exhibit Mississippi & Haiti: Two Peoples’ Struggle to Survive Social Injustices at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, in the lower gallery of the Museum of Art at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College, Olin Arts Center, 75 Russell St.
Regis will speak about his field experience in Haiti and Mississippi and read his poetry. A reception will follow.Regis is the author of a book of poetry Haiti Through My Eyes and a photographic documentary Deadly Road to Democracy, both published by Jukejoint Press.
