The Lewiston-Auburn jazz band Three Point Trio opens the 2009 乐播传媒 College Midsummer Lakeside Concert Series on July 9. The series also presents singer-songwriter Carolyn Currie, the folk trio Ti' Acadie, the One World Music Ensemble and R茅veillons!, known for its modern take on Qu茅b茅cois music.

As it does every year, 乐播传媒 College invites residents of Lewiston and Auburn to "Affirming Our Community," an Earth Day celebration starting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 29, in the Clifton Daggett Gray Athletic Building, 130 Central Avenue.
Scrod Pudding performs benefit contradance at 乐播传媒

Scrod Pudding, a group of local musicians who play traditional New England, French-Canadian and Appalachian music, will perform a contradance with caller Bill Olsonfrom 8 p.m. to midnight, Friday, Nov. 7, in Chase Hal, 56 Campus Ave. Admission is $5 at the door and proceeds will benefit the AIDS Coalition of Lewiston-Auburn.
