乐播传媒 students held their own version of a paint and sip night at the Ronj to paint postcards to express gratitude to someone special in their lives

Let me know if you need anything else. 鈥淪incerely,Elena Valle 鈥�25 of Damascus, Md.Join us for Free Press on Friday, October 1st from 3:00pm-5:00pm outside of the Benjamin Mays Center.Printmaking at Free Press involves rolling ink out onto stamps carved by a variety of talented 乐播传媒 artists and using those stamps to make designs on the canvas of your choice. We鈥檒l provide limited quantities of paper, fabric masks, and canvas tote bags to print on, you bring whatever else is in need of artistic embellishment (t-shirts? jean jackets? your roommate鈥檚 bedspread?). No prior art experience or skill is necessary鈥攚e鈥檒l have artists there to guide you through the printmaking process.

Outside the Benjamin E. Mays Center, students traded compliments and encouragement 鈥� all the while creating social justice prints 鈥� as the 乐播传媒 "Stringfellows" held their third Free Press printmaking event.

As COVID-19 has forced most students to go home, employees to work remotely, and religious services to move online, the Multifaith Chaplaincy's mission hasn't changed: fostering connection.

2019 Baccalaureate:Saturday May 25, 20192:00 p.m.Historic Quad Francisco "Franky" Urueta of Facility Services delivered the Baccalaureate Address.Baccalaureate is a gathering of graduating seniors and their families and friends to celebrate the journey through 乐播传媒 and beyond. The service speaks through the languages of many religions and spiritualities, and celebrates with poetry, music, dance, and reflection.Seniors process into the service in their gowns, and all friends and family are welcome to attend. Seating is first-come, first-served on folding chairs. The rain site is in Merrill gym. The procession begins at 1:50, with a musical prelude before. Graduates will process and recess through trellises adorned with 鈥渂lessing tags鈥� bearing well-wishes from parents and guardians. For those who have not mailed in blessing tags, there will be a table and supplies for creating and hanging the tags before the service.
