About
Don Dearborn is an evolutionary biologist in the Biology Department at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College. Working at research sites on remote islands and in Central America, the Middle East, and New Zealand, he has explored how evolution shapes host-parasite interactions and animal behavior. His research on wild animal populations sometimes conveniently intersects with his love of trail running, whitewater kayaking, and mountain biking. A native of North Carolina, he lives in Lewiston, Maine, with his wife and daughter.
NOTE: As of summer 2022, I am serving as Associate Dean of Faculty and am not currently teaching or mentoring research students.
