Transportation From Portland Jetport to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Campus

Students arriving at the Portland Transportation Center by rail or by bus skip down to bullet #2 and follow the subsequent steps. (The Uber/Lyft/Rideshare or Taxi services listed in bullet #1 remain as an option traveling from Portland locations to campus.)

If you need transportation from the Portland Jetport to the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Campus an option to get to campus is to follow the outline below:

  1. Take an Uber/Lyft/Rideshare or Taxi to the Portland Transportation Center located at 100 Thompson’s Point Road, Portland, ME 04102. It’s a 5 minute taxi ride from the Portland Jetport to the Portland Transportation Center bus terminal.

    Options for ways to travel from the Portland Jetport to the Transportation Center are included below:
    • Uber/Lyft/Rideshare App accessed via your smart phone
    • A Taxi located at the airport for pickup

    • (stop 9) – Public Transportation bus from Jetport to a stop near the Transportation Center. There is also an option for Public Transportation (bus) from Jetport to the Transportation Center provided by (stop 9). There is a 10 minute walk from the METRO bus stop on Congress St., using Sewell St. to reach the Transportation Center.
    • Some of these private taxi services will also transport directly from the Jetport to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ as an option.
  2. Take the – Book in Advance to the Auburn bus station at Exit 75 or ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Campus. You will need to visit the website link to purchase a bus ticket. (Northbound schedule)
    • Departing from the Portland Transportation Center at 100 Thomas Point Road in Portland.
    • usually offers trips directly to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ multiple times a day. The schedule makes stops daily on campus with the bus dropping off and picking up on College Street in front of Page Hall. (Most arrivals will use the northbound schedule, while departures will use the southbound schedule.) The schedule and ticket prices are subject to change by the bus company and may take time to update here if the company changes plans.
  3.  Take the Bobcat Express (ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Shuttle Service) — If arriving at Auburn bus station at Exit 75, the Bobcat Express will pick you up at the bus station which is less than 15 minutes away from campus. Please call in advance to schedule or notify the need for pick up. The terminal is located about 15 minutes from campus. This service is provided by ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College to support students in arriving to campus. For any transportation questions about the Bobcat Express please call (207) 786-8300.

Departures from campus during breaks or other trips would be these same steps taken in reverse, using the southbound schedule for the Lap Commuter Bus. LAP offers stops directly on campus (northbound and southbound buses).
