Joined by ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Fall Semester Abroad Program participants, first-graders in China’s Long Bow Village practice the four tones of Mandarin pronunciation. To assess the transformation of Chinese village life, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students and professors often visit Long Bow, first described in 1948 by writer William Hinton and again in the 1980s by his daughter, documentary filmmaker Carma Hinton.
