VizLab
The VizLab occupies the northern half of the ground floor at Coram Library. It is a space for new and emerging 3D technologies and digital fabrication. Resources are available to support the curricular and scholarly work of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ faculty and students. Support ranges from individual and small group consultation, to in-class workshops, to collaborating on research projects with faculty.
The main workroom in the VizLab features three 3D printers, a Laser Cutter, a powerful Mac Studio for complex 3D modeling tasks, and doubles as a classroom and teaching space for small groups.
The VizLab also has three smaller workrooms dedicated to Virtual Reality and Computing, with powerful PC desktops and an array of VR/AR headsets including the Meta Quest Pro and HTC Vive XR Elite.
VizLab staff are generally available for drop-in appointments between 8:30AM and 4:30PM, or email us to get started on your project.
