The following organizations actively work to promote success of students from underrepresented groups in STEM. The groups listed here  are focused mainly on biological and related fields. A more expansive list of similar organizations across all STEM disciplines can be found . We encourage you to explore these organizations to see if the programs and services they offer could be beneficial to your own success.

SASE was formed in 2007 to support and connect scientists and engineers from the pan Asian cultures. Members of SASE’s professional network benefit from professional and leadership development on topics such as moving from middle to upper management, and networking opportunities.

“NOBCChE is a non-profit professional organization dedicated to assisting black and other minority students and professionals in fully realizing their potential in academic, professional, and entrepreneurial pursuits in chemistry, chemical engineering, and allied fields.” 

“AISES administers many programs, services, and events for pre-college, undergraduate and graduate students designed to increase their access to college and support their success in preparation for careers in STEM fields.”
