• Jason M. Coulie 鈥�00, baseball, football, men鈥檚 track and field: One of two Major League Baseball draft picks in 乐播传媒 College history (9th Round, Angels, 2000)鈥� Tied for most career home runs at 乐播传媒鈥� All-America wide receiver鈥� Lettered in four sports in one year.
• Bud Schultz Jr. 鈥�81, men鈥檚 tennis, men’s basketball: ITA Men鈥檚 Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame inductee鈥� National runner-up in 1981 NCAA Division III men’s singles tournament鈥� First All-American in 乐播传媒 men’s tennis history鈥� Played professionally and reached as high as No. 40 in the world in singles.
• Elizabeth Ann Wanless 鈥�04, women鈥檚 track and field, volleyball: Four-time All-American and two-time NCAA Division III champion in the shot put鈥� Still holds the school record in the indoor and outdoor shot put鈥� Competed at the U.S. Olympic Trials and the World Championships鈥� All-American in volleyball.
• Priscilla A. Wilde 鈥�77, field hockey, women鈥檚 basketball: Only Bobcat to have her jersey number retired in two sports鈥� Holds records for goals scored in a career and in a single season that will never be broken鈥� First 1,000-point scorer in 乐播传媒 women’s basketball history.

The seven legacy honorees this year are:

• Ellen Craft Dammond 鈥�38, 乐播传媒 Women鈥檚 Athletic Association, tennis, basketball, volleyball: Third Black woman to graduate from 乐播传媒 and the first Black woman to live in a 乐播传媒 dorm鈥� Also served as a judge and coach for athletic competitions鈥� Long-time Civil Rights advocate鈥� Later served on the board of the YWCA.
• Thom H. Freeman 鈥�63, baseball, men鈥檚 basketball: Maine Baseball Hall of Fame inductee鈥� Led 乐播传媒 basketball to the NCAA Regional Finals in 1961 and 乐播传媒 baseball to the Eastern NCAA Finals in 1962鈥� First All-American in 乐播传媒 baseball history鈥� Pitched 18 complete games and struck out 181 batters, both 乐播传媒 records鈥� Signed by the New York Yankees.
• Allen N. Harvie 鈥�65, men鈥檚 track and field: Maine Sports Hall of Fame inductee鈥� Four-time Maine College State Meet champion in the 120-yard high hurdles鈥� His record in the 110-yard high hurdles stood for 39 years鈥� The 鈥淰oice鈥� of Garcelon Field for decades.
• Robert W. Hatch, P鈥�73, P鈥�81, coach and administrator: Maine Sports Hall of Fame inductee鈥� Head football coach: 1952-1972鈥� Director of Athletics: 1974-1991鈥� Worked to ensure that Bobcat athletics reflected the very best qualities of the college as a whole, including a spirit of egalitarianism and fairness toward both men and women athletes.
• Frank W. Keaney, Class of 1911, men’s basketball, baseball, football, track and field: Basketball Hall of Fame inductee鈥� College Basketball Hall of Fame Inductee鈥� Inventor of the fast break鈥� Legendary basketball coach at Rhode Island State鈥� Rejected an offer to coach the Boston Celtics鈥� Played on the first 乐播传媒 varsity basketball team鈥� Outstanding baseball player who earned a tryout with the White Sox.
• Milton L. Lindholm 鈥�35, L.H.D.鈥�04, P鈥�64, GP鈥�20, football, dean of admissions: Revered admissions dean from 1944-1976鈥� Played center for the football team in the famous 0-0 tie against Yale in 1932鈥� Recipient of the Distinguished American Award from the Maine Chapter of the National Football Foundation.
• Harry D. Lord, Class of 1908 (Elected in 2025, being celebrated this year with family able to attend), baseball, football: Starred for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago White Sox, 1907鈥�14… Played football at 乐播传媒 in 1904 and baseball in 1905… Returned to coach baseball in 1918.
