Summary

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining a cohesive and versatile brand for the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Campus Safety Department. The specialist is responsible for creating content on behalf of the Campus Safety Department to be posted on the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College website. This individual will also work to assist in the planning, promoting, and execution of community engagement events.

Responsibilities

• Increase general knowledge of Campus Safety’s philosophy and services, as well as promote upcoming, specific community engagement events and programs.
• Assist in the planning and staffing Campus Safety community engagement events and programs.
• Photograph Campus Safety events and programs (on and off-campus).
• Create print marketing materials (including, but not limited to, flyers and posters).
• Develop and implement other marketing and outreach strategies, as needed.

Requirements

Demonstrate strong written communication skills, organizational skills, and have a knack for creativity.
