| ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Reunion Weekend is a signature campus event. Over 1,000 alumni and friends from 14 reunion classes return to campus to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ experience. Reunion Weekend takes place June 5-8. The Reunion Transportation Coordinator is responsible for the golf-cart usage coordination, van transportation and cellphone communications strategy, logistics, and training during Reunion Weekend. |
Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Help to recruit and train ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars, stuff registration packets, and assist professional staff before Reunion.
The RTC is in charge of the 25 golf carts during Reunion, tracking and distributing keys when ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars arrive on campus, conducting a training session, and then administering individual driving tests for each ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Star
Making sure that all golf carts are labeled and locked up each night and taken out in the mornings, making sure all golf carts are filled with gas, and collecting keys and returning them.
The logistics and organization of four 10 passenger vans.
The RTC must make sure that all ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars are using the golf carts appropriately, safely, and efficiently, with priority being transporting elderly or disabled alumni.
In addition, the RTC will also be in charge of training all ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars on cell phone communications. The use of a cell phone app (such as WhatsApp) is an important tool for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars.
REQUIRED: Driver’s license
EDUCATION: Current ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Student
EXPERIENCE: Administrative work
Reports to: Jem Bullock, Assistant Director of Annual Giving & Reunion.
Coordinates with: Advancement Reunion Staff, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Star Coordinators and Alumni.
Environment: Lane Hall until Reunion Weekend, then campus-wide
Travel Requirements: Walk across campus as requested and carry supplies.
