ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Reunion Weekend is a signature campus event. Over 1,000 alumni and friends from 14 reunion classes return to campus to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ experience. Reunion Weekend takes place June 5-8.
The Reunion ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Star Coordinator is responsible for training, scheduling, and supervising Reunion ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars, as well as working with the Assistant Coordinator and Annual Giving & Reunion staff to prepare for reunion. They begin working with Annual Giving & Reunion staff in winter semester hiring ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars and continue to assist in preparing for the event through Reunion Weekend. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
| The ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Star Coordinator is the first point of contact for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars. They will provide leadership and training for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars during Reunion Weekend. They are required to make sure ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars are available for the full schedule of Reunion weekend events (including set-up, greeting, staffing, and tear-down). These events will include but are not limited to: meals, the alumni parade, and class-specific events. In between, they can expect to be on-call for the entirety of Reunion Weekend. This position requires great leadership skills, strong organizational skills, customer service skills, and lots of positive energy! |
Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
-Lead and support all ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars
-Assemble orientation packets and training materials for each ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Star
-Create Reunion Weekend work schedules for each ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Star
-Assist Annual Giving and Reunion Staff in coordinating and facilitating ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Star Orientation
-Serve as liaison between the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Stars and all other parties: including staff partners and Reunion attendees and their families.
REQUIRED: Driver’s license preferred
EDUCATION: ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ student
EXPERIENCE: Administrative Work, organizational skills, and strong leadership. Preference will be given to applicants with previous ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Reunion experience.
TIMEFRAME: Available starting as soon as winter semester to assist with hiring (picking up more hours through Short Term and continuing through Reunion Weekend ending June 8).
