The Center for Global Education seeks enthusiastic student leaders to serve as International Circle Orientation Leaders (ICOLs). ICOLs will guide, support, and mentor new incoming international students as they transition to our campus and community. This is a short-term, high-impact leadership position running from August 21 – August 26, 2026—approximately 6 days and roughly 35-45 hours total.

As an ICOL, you will welcome new international students, facilitate small-group activities, orient them to campus resources, and help manage events including informational sessions and social activities. This role offers valuable experience in cross-cultural communication, event facilitation, and student leadership. You do not need to be an international student to apply, but you must be well familiar with campus resources and the international student experience.

CGE: International Student Programs Assistant

For conferences, activities, public presentations, dinners and programs, the student worker will assist the International Student Adviser in a list of assigned duties related to the event. The student would complete tasks within an assigned frame of time for the success of the program/activity.

CGE Barlow Fellowship

This position is created to award a variety of fellowship funding to students who are studying abroad, from the David Barlow Endowment for Study Abroad. A payment request will accompany each student award, indicating the particular fund.

CGE: Global Ambassador

The Center for Global Education (CGE) seeks 4-5 Global Ambassadors to assist and contribute to the efforts of the CGE. Global Ambassadors will focus on both areas of international student programs and off-campus study / study abroad. All successful applicants will work closely with the staff of the CGE, gain paraprofessional skills, and learn more about international education at �ֲ��ý and as a professional field. Ambassadors will have many opportunities to influence the goals, programs, and projects of the CGE and will use their own experiences to help provide the best possible experiences for other students. The �ֲ��ý Leads Framework is embedded into the Global Ambassador leadership role. The following competencies are relevant to this position: Consciousness of Self and Impact, Commitment, Collaboration and Common Purpose.
