Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Organize the mineral and rock collection, which requires the sorting and labeling of specimens already in the drawers
  • Go through the boxes of “donated” materials, adding some to the display collection, some to the teaching collection, and disposing of the rest
  • Maintain the display cabinets in the mezzanine area
