The Committee Selection Board is a distinct and independent branch of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College Student Government that oversees the process of selecting ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students to serve on a variety of ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ committees and boards that have student representatives/committee members. CSB works collaboratively with Campus Life, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Faculty and other campus partners to ensure that students are selected to committees through equitable, transparent, and accessible processes. CSB aims to select the best candidates for the various positions based on criteria set forth by the committee chairs or other governing body. The workload of CSB members varies throughout the semester. Students can expect to work between 1-6 hours per week throughout the semester, depending on workload.
About this Job: The main purpose of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College Student Government (BCSG) Committee Selection Board (CSB) is responsible for selecting students to serve on campus committees and boards that include student positions. CSB ensures the selection process runs smoothly and that all student roles are filled efficiently. As an impartial body, CSB is committed to appointing the most qualified candidates for each position based on fair and transparent evaluation. Members play a vital role in this process, contributing between 1 and 6 hours per week depending on the committee’s overall workload.
