This role works with a team of other ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students to carry out tours, in-person and virtual specialized programming, Open Houses and larger visit days, information sessions, panels, desk coverage and welcoming guests into the office, virtual correspondences with prospective students, and a number of special projects in collaboration with staff members around the Admission Office. Professional development and continued training opportunities will be facilitated throughout the summer as well, providing Summer Interns with long-lasting mentoring connections, leadership opportunities, and widely applicable skill tool kits.

Interns’ primary responsibility is leading on-campus tours twice a day, thereby providing prospective students and their families with the unique student perspective to academic and extracurricular offerings and opportunities, and campus life broadly. Senior Fellow responsibilities include co-leading in-person information sessions with a member of Admission staff to welcome prospective students, their families and loved ones, and special guests to campus and the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ community. In addition, Senior Fellows will have regular weekly shifts covering the front desk, involving checking guests in, answering emails from prospective students, and working closely with our Operations Team for further logistical tasks. Based off of applicant interests and needs on the staff side, Senior Fellows will assist Admission staff with a variety of special projects, which could include, but are not limited to, event planning and programming, virtual events/programming, social media, and connecting with and planning programming for students from specific backgrounds (i.e. international students, students from historically underrepresented/underserved backgrounds, students from specific geographies, students with specific interests, etc.). Professional development opportunities, abilities to learn more about Admissions work, and continuous training processes will all be available to Fellows throughout the year.
