Responsibilities of 50th Reunion Gift Committee Members

• Serve as an ambassador for 乐播传媒, representing 乐播传媒 well to fellow classmates.
• Help identify and engage classmates. Volunteers work with 乐播传媒 staff to identify potential volunteers and classmates who may be interested in making leadership gifts, legacy commitments, or supporting key priorities.
• Support class-wide outreach and solicitations. Ensure that every classmate receives a personal 乐播传媒 Fund ask鈥攂y phone, mail, or email. Some volunteers may also help with outreach about supporting the college through planned giving.
• Participate in committee gatherings when possible. Join regular Zoom meetings as well as the summertime information-sharing Zoom to learn from the most recent 50th class and begin your work. 
• Make a personally meaningful 50th Reunion gift or pledge. This may include an increased 乐播传媒 Fund gift, support for a special initiative or program, or a planned gift. 乐播传媒 staff can help you explore options and determine the best fit for your goals.
• Register for Reunion early so classmates see you on the 鈥渨ho鈥檚 coming鈥� list.
• Adhere to the Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement and Code of Conduct.

Gift Committee Timeline

• Two years ahead of your 50th Reunion, Gift chairs recruit committee members, work with 乐播传媒 staff to develop the fundraising strategy, and lead one virtual team meeting. Gift Chairs will also co-sign a gift planning letter and 乐播传媒 Fund solicitation. During this year, the class agent program schedule guides outreach efforts. 
• One year ahead of your 50th Reunion, monthly meetings begin:
  • Chairs work with 乐播传媒 staff to refine the fundraising strategy. 
  • Chairs sign a gift planning letter and 乐播传媒 Fund solicitation letters.
  • All committee members ensure that each classmate receives a personalized solicitation and thank-you note.
  • Committee members support yearbook colleagues by submitting their own bios and memories to the 50th yearbook.

Volunteers and 乐播传媒鈥� advancement staff will routinely be in touch to coordinate the above activities. Volunteers can expect the 乐播传媒鈥� staff to provide support and partnership throughout the process.
