As we prepare for summer on campus, we want to share a few updates and reminders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:33px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-lightgray-bg has-dark-color has-text-color\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>End of Short Term &amp; Commencement<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Short Term Ends:\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, May 27<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residences close for non-seniors:&nbsp;<strong>Thursday, May 28, at 5 p.m.<\/strong>&nbsp;Board plan ends with lunch.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/housing\/moving-out\/\">Review the move-out process \u2192<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commencement:&nbsp;<strong>Sunday, May 31<\/strong>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/commencement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Explore&nbsp;the Commencement schedule \u2192<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residences close for seniors:\u00a0<strong>Sunday, May 31, at 5 p.m. <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/housing\/residential-calendar\/\">View the Residential Calendar \u2192<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Action Required &#8211; Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP):<\/strong>\u00a0All returning students must enroll or waive health insurance coverage through Garnet Gateway by\u00a0<strong>Wednesday, May 27, 2026<\/strong>. Students who do not complete the process by the deadline will automatically be enrolled in the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½-sponsored health insurance plan.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/health-services\/insurance-2\/\">Learn more about SHIP requirements and coverage details \u2192<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>New ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ ID Cards:<\/strong>\u00a0ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ will introduce new student ID cards starting on\u00a0<strong>August 14<\/strong>. Returning students will exchange their current ID card when they arrive on campus for the fall semester. Students can check ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½Now for additional information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Summer Support &amp; Resources:<\/strong>\u00a0During the summer months, students continue to have access to a wide range of campus support services.
