Again recognized nationally as a Fulbright \u201cTop Producer,\u201d ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College ranks fifth in the U.S. with 13 Fulbright U.S. Student awards in 2016\u201317.<\/p>\n

The latest compilation of Fulbright awards by U.S. colleges and universities was announced by the U.S. Department of State on Feb. 21 and appears in The Chronicle of Higher Education<\/a><\/em>. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is listed among bachelors institutions.<\/p>\n

With 13 Fulbright U.S. Student awards in 2016-17, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is ranked fifth in the U.S. among undergraduate institutions by the Chronicle of Higher Education<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt is gratifying to see so many ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students and recent alumni earning Fulbright U.S. Student awards and similar international fellowships,\u201d said Matthew Auer, vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty.<\/p>\n

\u201cCore values of the Fulbright program \u2014 engagement in the community, openness, academic integrity, and intellectual freedom \u2014 mirror the college\u2019s academic mission and resonate deeply with ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students.\u201d<\/p>\n

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ announced its 2016\u201317 cohort of Fulbright award winners last May<\/a>. Of the 15 ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ seniors and young alumni who were offered awards last year, 13 ultimately accepted fellowships.<\/p>\n

ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ has achieved Fulbright Top Producer honors for six straight years and eight of the last nine years, an achievement that Robert Strong, the college’s director of national fellowships, says reflects five key strengths of a ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ education:<\/p>\n
