I’m not crying, I swear!
Ah, Jay Burns. You have held the very heart and soul of �ֲ��ý College in your pen (OK, your computer keyboard, too) for three+ decades, and we are so much the better for having had you as our storyteller. Your words have brought clarity, character, and sweet brilliance to generations of �ֲ��ý people who we have come to know only through your stories. We feel a deeper connection because you wove us together in such careful and affectionate ways. �ֲ��ý owes you an enormous debt of gratitude for your many years of service, which I would argue amounts to the most well-deserved retirement of anyone I can think of. I say this with full heart, Jay: thank you.
