I wish I had the foresight to ask someone to take my photo in 1978 when I ‘dipped’!

I dyed myself green for the St. Patrick’s Day contest at The Cage, where I won $50 (a true windfall back then), before returning to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ for The Dip.

My nieces and nephews (a.k.a. niblings) and siblings would be shocked by the photo, as I rarely go in the ocean in Maine now, even in August.

We didn’t find mentions of the ’86 jump in the Mirror or Student. I believe that Lake Andrews was searched, but not drained.

In my recollevtion, Lake Andrews had been drained previously to search for the weapon used to shoot Dean Carigan. I believe the event still took place though I only watched from a Smith Middle bathroom window. I thought they were nuts….
