I have been involved with hundreds of people through my work during the past fifty+ years since my graduation, but only once have I ever met a person who admitted to being asexual and who was comfortable in his own body. I think that there may a much larger hidden population. If nothing else, having the condition recognized as a legitimate sexual component of the human condition might bring some relief to those who are uncomfortable/uninformed about their place in this very sexually oriented social environment.
