{"id":3142,"date":"2023-07-24T11:48:02","date_gmt":"2023-07-24T15:48:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/giving\/?page_id=3142"},"modified":"2026-03-30T13:47:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T17:47:06","slug":"class-agents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/giving\/class-agents\/","title":{"rendered":"Class Agents"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Class agents play an important role in keeping alumni connected and involved with ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ \u2014 creating a sense of community among classmates and strengthening their relationship with the college. <\/span>Class agent responsibilities include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-style-lightgray-bg has-dark-color has-text-color\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leading by example: Make your gift to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ by December 31.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contacting classmates about making their ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Fund gift.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sharing news from campus and speaking with classmates about the importance of giving to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encouraging classmates to participate in virtual or in-person alumni programming.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thanking those who made a gift with a personal thank-you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Class agents contact classmates about supporting ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ and share news from campus. There are more than 400 dedicated class agents who are integral to the success of our fundraising efforts. With the support and drive of our current agents, the class agent program is poised to create a strong foundation for ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½\u2019 continued success and growth for years to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hope the fundraising resources provided here are helpful.
