Each fall, the Kroepsch Teaching Award Pedagogy Panel is a chance for us to pause our busy schedules and come together as a community around teaching. This year’s conversation: “ could not be more timely.

We invite you to join us on Monday, September 29, from 12–1 pm in Commons 221/222. Lunch is through the Commons line, with celebratory dessert waiting upstairs as we gather.

The panel will be introduced and moderated by Clarisa Pérez-Armendáriz, Professor of Politics and Latin American Studies and the 2025 Kroepsch Award winner, and will feature perspectives from colleagues across campus (in alphabetical order):

• Laura Balladur, Senior Lecturer in French and Francophone Studies
• Darren Gallant, Associate Dean, Director of the Center for Global Education, Visiting Lecturer (FYS)
• Eric LeFlore, Assistant Professor of Biology
• James Reese, Associate Dean of Students

This is an opportunity to support your colleagues, celebrate teaching, engage in a college-wide conversation about how we prepare students to meet a complex, interconnected world, and connect across disciplines, leaving with fresh perspectives and ideas for your own teaching.
