Alex McAuliff is an Assistant Professor of Politics at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College, specializing in international politics, with a focus on the gendered politics of war and peace. She is interested in the role of identity and representation in conflict resolution, and critical and feminist approaches to inclusive peace. Her current book project examines the peace process in Northern Ireland and specifically explores the gendered power dynamics of peace negotiations and the implications for enduring peace and stability. Prior to joining the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ faculty, she completed her doctorate at The Fletcher School at Tufts University and served as a Visiting Researcher and Fellow at the Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Law School. At ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, Alex teaches courses related to international politics, conflict resolution, dialogue and negotiation, European studies, and feminist foreign policy.

George, Jr. received his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in 2003 and has been a member of the ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College faculty since 2000. He teaches courses on Spanish literature and film, European studies, Iberian integration in Europe, and Hispano-Asian connections, as well as all levels of Spanish language.

David has published more than 30 articles and book chapters on a variety of aspects of nineteenth- and twentieth-century Spanish literature, film, and television, including issues of cultural exchange and travel between Spain and Asia. He is co-author of the volumes (Iberoamericana 2009), (Palgrave-Macmillan 2018), and (Modern Language Association, 2025). He is also the author of annotated editions of Leopoldo Ala’s (LinguaText 2008) and Benito Pérez Galdós’s (LinguaText 2012). His current research deals with the influence of Japanese culture in Spain from the nineteenth to the twenty-first century.

David serves on the executive board of the as the Editor of , an international peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the study of the literature of nineteenth-century Spanish realist Benito Pérez Galdós and his contemporaries.
