They are a Computer Scientist with expertise in human-robot interaction (HRI) working at the intersection of technology, identity, and embodiment.

They earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Cornell University with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and a minor in Information Science. They have a B.S. degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Union College.

Andy is the director of Bits & Bots & Bolts at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½: an Interaction Design Lab. Their research explores how people interact with and through technology, focusing on identity and the body.
