The Office of Admission welcomes prospective students and their families Monday &#8211; Friday, except when noted. The office is also open on select Saturdays in the fall and spring. We encourage you to register in advance when possible, but we also accept walk-ins. If you are admitted through Early Decision to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, you must immediately withdraw applications to other institutions and enroll at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. Due to the binding nature of Early Decision, you are not permitted to apply to other binding Early Decision programs.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-bates-shortcodes-btn btn-wrap\"><div class=\"btn-action\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"280dcb11-c4ba-4efa-9511-90527d016579\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><h3 class=\"btn-title\">Do all supporting materials have to be in by the application deadline? Supporting materials include the required school transcripts and profile, letters of recommendation, and (if applicable) early decision agreement. Optional supporting materials are your standardized test scores or arts supplement. Does ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ offer rolling admission?<\/h3><div class=\"btn-arrow\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"btn-content\" id=\"7114bf51-9f6f-4bd5-ba61-4fe927131775\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No, ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ does not offer direct admission. Direct admission refers to a college admission process where a school proactively offers admission to qualified students before they formally apply. <br><br>ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ does not offer rolling admission. Rolling admission is a college application process that reviews applications as they are received, rather than waiting for a deadline. See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/admission\/apply\/application-options\/\">this page<\/a> for our admission rounds and timelines.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-bates-shortcodes-btn btn-wrap\"><div class=\"btn-action\" role=\"button\" tabindex=\"0\" aria-controls=\"780b17a3-f652-4eae-a7aa-76027720e8c6\" aria-pressed=\"false\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><h3 class=\"btn-title\">How does ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College comply with the June 2023 U.S. Supreme Court decision regarding the use of race in admission if a student self-reports their race or ethnicity on the Common App or the Coalition App?<\/h3><div class=\"btn-arrow\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"btn-content\" id=\"780b17a3-f652-4eae-a7aa-76027720e8c6\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When applying to ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College as a first-year or transfer student and completing the profile section on the Common Application or Coalition Application, applicants will see questions asking for their race and ethnicity. Answering these questions is optional. ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ College application readers do not see or use this data when reviewing student applications for admission.<br><br>Answers about race and ethnicity that an applicant shares on their application are hidden from ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ Admission during the consideration for selection.
